The Hake is primarily designed for lighting candles, tealights, incense, and gas hobs. The 27 cm long handle keeps your hand safely away from the flame — ideal for deep candle holders or hard-to-reach spots.

The Hake produces a regular yellow flame rather than a blue jet flame. For indoor use such as candles, this works perfectly. For BBQs and fireplaces, a jet flame lighter is the better choice as it is wind-resistant.

Yes, it is refillable with lighter gas (butane). There is a refill valve at the base, and a bottle of gas is already included in the package.
